While Silicon Valley is blessed with abundant hospitals, physicians, and advanced health care technology, unhoused neighbors experience tremendous obstacles to receiving health care services. Risks of serious illness are compounded by lack of hygiene, shelter, and nutrition, causing common and preventable ailments to degenerate into debilitating disease or even death.

To help protect our neighbors in need, AAi is partnering with APPNA Community Health Center of SF Bay Area, a safety-net clinic providing free health care to the uninsured and under-served in a culturally sensitive and compassionate environment.

Join a small team of Jews, Christians, and Muslims to assist APPNA staff by registering guests for medical services and sterilizing chairs between consultations, first aid, healthcare screenings, and flu shots.

No experience is necessary! APPNA staff will train you to accomplish these tasks easily and safely.

All health services will be administered outdoors.

Age Requirement: 18+

Proof of vaccination (or a negative PCR or Antigen test), face masks and social distancing required.

Gloves, hand sanitizer, and wipes are provided.

Space is limited. All volunteers must register online before arrival.
