10mar11:00 am12:15 pmThe Happy Menopause: Manage Headaches, Age Healthily & Maximise Movement

Event Details

Join us online for an hour of expert advice and practical insights as we unpick some of the key challenges of the menopause and discuss strategies to help you maximise your health and wellbeing in midlife and beyond.

What Is It?

Award-winning nutritionist and author Jackie Lynch has invited 3 of her favourite experts to unpick these issues in a The Happy Menopause live panel session.

We’ll discuss:

Hormonal Headaches – what they are, why they happen and what you can do about them. Professor Anne MacGregor has spent her career studying hormonal headaches and treating women who struggle with them, so there is no one better to advise us here.

Movement – the importance of exercise in midlife, and beyond, to reduce stress and maximise physical and mental health. Fitness expert Julie Robinson will explain and demonstrate which types of exercise are the most effective and beneficial as we transition through the menopause.

The Science of Ageing – once you get to midlife, everyone starts to age in a very different way – a small part of that is genetic but a lot of it is down to diet and lifestyle. Health coach and author Susan Saunders will share some fascinating information about cellular ageing and how we can slow it down to be the best possible version of ourselves as we move through midlife and into old age.

About The Happy Menopause Book:

This practical nutrition and lifestyle guide provides women with the tools to build their own menopause diet which specifically targets the symptoms that are relevant to them. There are so many ways that nutrition can support a healthy and happy menopause, but a one-size-fits-all approach simply won’t work. The reality is that there are many different menopausal symptoms and no two women have the same experience.

Jackie explains how the menopause and perimenopause can change your body and how your diet can make a tangible difference to the way that you feel, whether you’re using HRT or not. Each symptom section provides a range of targeted nutritional solutions, practical lifestyle advice and simple recipe tips that you can incorporate into your daily routine.

A highly experienced clinician, Jackie specialises in providing real-world guidance to busy women. This book is designed to make the key information as easily accessible as possible and reflects her trademark practical style, which makes it the ideal one-stop solution for anyone juggling their menopause with the demands of a busy job and a hectic family life.
