Event Details

Join us for community wellness and healing on May 27, 11am to 3pm for our Mental Wellness Block Party @ St. Mary’s Center – 925 Brockhurst St., with partner organizations collaborating to get the community connected to the services and resources they need to lead more productive lives.

Come eat some delicious food, dance a little, play dominoes, win prizes and just let go for the day.

BOSS is inviting local organizations to table at our upcoming Mental Health and Wellness Fair, to provide health/wellness information and resources to the community.

Organizations specializing in mental health resources, housing services, holistic approaches, violence prevention, legal services, survivor services, substance addiction prevention, interactive activities, & more!

The event is free for everyone and will be hosted by our West Oakland Neighborhood Impact Hub in #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth in partnership with @Warriors.

The West Oakland Neighborhood Impact Hub, located at 2811 Adeline Street, is one of three BOSS Neighborhood Impact Hubs with intentional innovative solutions to reverse the institutional racism that has devastated Black and Brown communities in disinvested neighborhoods. At the West Hub, community members can access peer mentors and violence prevention/mediation support; receive information and referrals for community resources such as education, employment, health care, and legal aid; and attend life skills classes, community healing groups, arts/culture events, pop up COVID testing, and more.

If you have any questions, please contact Sonja Fitz, BOSS Director of Development, at or 510-649-1930 x 1008. If you’re interested in tabling fill out this form and we’ll contact you.
